Hillary Clinton Tells a Great Story

Greetings Friends!

Big news on the Presidential front! You see, Hillary Clinton has made a case about her experience that she has over Obama....funny thing is, she's been lying about. Case in point:Her trip to Bosnia.

Hillary had claimed that she made a landing under "sniper fire." She said they even had to cancel her greeting ceremony....One problem...a major news network was with her filming it all

Mr. Carville, Take a Deep Breath

Greetings Friends,

I have always admired James Carville as a political consultant. What he has accomplished in his career is truly outstanding. The fact that he is from my native Louisiana makes me incredibly proud of his accomplishments and hope that one day I could accomplish even half of what he has as a player in Democratic politics.

Now, with those pleasantries out of the way, I have to send a message to Mr. Carville: it's time to realize that people don't always have to agree with you. The latest bit of sharp rhetoric came after New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson endorsed Barack Obama instead of Carville's candidate, Hillary Clinton.

From the New York Times: “Mr. Richardson’s endorsement came right around the anniversary of the day when Judas sold out for 30 pieces of silver, so I think the timing is appropriate, if ironic,” Mr. Carville said, referring to Holy Week."

James, Governor Richardson went with who he thought was the best candidate. He, like millions of Americans have come to the realization that it is time to move on from the politics of the past. It is time to move ahead. We cannot do that with Hillary Clinton.

Turning now to the endorsement of Gov. Richardson, I think this just might be enough to catapult Obama to the presidency. Why? Senator Obama has struggled in garnering the Latino vote and the presence of Bill Richardson in his camp alone should help with that. A larger question is whether or not Senator Obama has spoken with Richardson about the possibility of being his running mate. I have said all along that Bill Richardson is by far the best candidate to serve as VP on an Obama ticket. He brings the requisite domestic and foreign policy experience that the Clintons and John McCain have attacked Senator Obama for lacking.

It will be interesting to see what develops out of this endorsement. One thing is clear though, the clock is ticking on Senator Clinton's candidacy. It's time to step aside Hillary.

A House Divided

Greetings Friends,

Disturbing news on the Democratic Primary front. I had my suspicions early on, but it appears the case now that the story about Barack Obama's pastor was planted in the media by the Clinton Campaign.

http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar/2008/03/clinton-doesnt.html

If the media were to pick up on Hillary's outright admission to pushing the story, her campaign would be doomed. The public does not like outright dirty politics. Apparently she knew enough about it, that she could not even deny knowledge that her campaign was involved.

Politics of this sort will get John McCain elected in November. Hillary needs to tone down the rhetoric or get off the stage. It's time to realize that she has lost. Then Barack and Mike Gravel can battle it out until convention. It's time for a one on one debate between Mike and Barack.

Hillary, it's over. If you want to destroy the party, then keep going. If you want to win, then get out of the way.

Labor Pains: Birthing a President

Greetings Friends!

It feels good to be back! I have been on hiatus for a while now, but expect a flurry of posts keeping up with the election, leading up to the Democratic Convention in August! Frank Willington is going to Denver!

As we watch the process of that the Democratic Party has used to select a nominee, one thing is clear: Mike Gravel will be the next president of the United States. I have resigned myself to this fact. I have been a strong supporter of Senator Obama, but the recent surge in the poll numbers of Mike Gravel show that his support is too strong, and too broad to be over come. Obama may have the delegates, superdelegates and popular vote, but Mike Gravel has all the momentum.

You may ask, how did this happen? Well, first of all, Senator Obama has come under serious attack from all sides. You may have all heard about the preacher controversy surrounding the Obama campaign. Here is the attack video:

I am concerned about this attack. Clearly, this reverend does not have his entire church on the stage with him even though his audience is oddly silent. I'm sure I soon can catch him as an analyst on fox news.

So all hail to President Gravel, may he bring the troops home from Iraq. I will continue to post on the changes in the democratic race over the next few months as they develop. Hopefully Obama can bounce back. But if not, I am fully prepared to support President Mike Gravel.
